Comments:
Eric Clapton featuring Mark Knopfler, Alan Clark and Elton John! Audience recordings don't come better than this. Many traders have marked this bootleg as a soundboard recording, because that's almost what it sounds like, but in fact this is an excellent audience recording, evidenced by the crowd noise near the recorder between songs. Stunning performances as well, and no less than 19 songs. Mark brings Money For Nothing and Solid Rock and a lot of great solos in the other songs as well. Alan Clark plays the intro of Romeo and Juliet before a powerful version of Layla. Do you need more reasons to get this bootleg? ;-))
Part of this concert is also available as a soundboard recording (but the sound of this audience is equally good in my humble opinion), On The Crossroads, and as a videocd with the same title, On The Crossroads VCD.
