ON The Move!!!
- AUGUST THRU SEPTEMBER 2000 -
The acquisition of knowledge is a prerequisite to freedom, justice, prosperity & equality
The President's Corner:
Greetings fellow Eagles!
As our 2000-2001 year begins, let me convey my appreciation for the morale and physical support provided to me as your Chapter President.
I commit to serve the Chapter to the best of my God given abilities. I only ask that each of you lend your unrelenting support, as we move forward into the next Program year.
It is apparent that we have our work cut out for us to repeat our established legacy of Alumni activities. My intent is to improve upon what has been productive, revise what has been less than successful and to create where it has not been done before.
Send me your comments at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our first major challenge is that we need to increase our membership base. It is widely known that there are approximately 6,000 known Alumni in Durham, North Carolina and in our surrounding community.
I call upon you to devote your Time, Resources and Talents in support of our Chapter efforts for the coming year. Even more important, we need your Alumni dues at the beginning of the year to ensure the stable operation of our Chapter.
I look forward to working with each of you during the coming year! Visit our web site at http://Durham_Eagles.tripod.com/ and keep up with the Chapter activities!
Pledge to recommit yourself and support the Chapter and NCCU!
