The Story of Serenity and Endymion

Princess Serenity of the Moon and the Silver Millennium, and Prince Endymion of the Terran Earth Kingdom's love is an eternal love that has lasted for Millenniums. It all began 1000 years ago in a time period known as the Silver Millennium. The Silver Millennium was a peaceful time for the Universe, and Queen Serenity, Princess Serenity's mother, was the ruler of the Silver Millennium. Contact between Lunarian's (Moon people) and Earthlings (Earth people) was forbidden in this time, due to that the Moon was the protector of the Earth. The Moon Kingdom protected the Earth because the Earth would not join in the Silver Millennium.

Princess Serenity was rebellious, adventurous, and curious, but these are just few of her many traits. These ones in particular are responsible for her to meeting Endymion. You see, Princess Serenity had a thing for the Earth. She found it to be the most beautiful planet and would stare at it for hours and hours and hours. There was a special draw to Earth (Endymion) that she could not withstand. Although she had the company of her four inner guardians, her cat advisors, and her Mother, she was very lonely. Sure, there were grand balls on the Moon every night, but those balls did not satisfy her curiosity of the Earth. Besides that, Serenity found the Princes that she met as the balls attempting to court her to be very dull, and stuck up. Despite all these things, Serenity knew that deep down, her soul mate was out there somewhere...

One day, Serenity transported down to Earth to see what it was like. She ended up in the Royal Garden, and spotted Endymion almost immediately. Although she tried to hide behind a pillar, Endymion spotted her right away, and decided to meet her. Almost immediately, they fell in love. From that day on, Serenity and Endymion, would meet almost every day. Serenity would sneak away from her Guardians, and transport to Earth to spend time with him. Both of them knew that it was forbidden for them to be in love, but it was already too late. Queen Serenity found out about the love of her daughter and the Prince of Earth, and being the true leader that she is, graciously accepted the fact, and gave her blessing for them to wed. Endymion was now able to visit Serenity on the parties on the Moon, and they no longer had to sneak behind the palace guards. However, they did have to hide it from the people of the Earth. At the time, the people of the Earth, believed that the Lunarians were bad people who were not there to help the Earth, but take it over.

The Earthlings learned of their Princes' engagement with the Princess of the Moon, and were outraged by it. Queen Beryl of the Negaverse, started a rebellion within the people of Earth, which destroyed Endymion's parents, and his guards. Endymion, in the meantime, was sent to the Moon, for his own protection. Unfortunately, once Beryl conquered the Earth, she then attacked the Moon, with vengeance.

Queen Beryl destroyed the Moon Kingdom, and the Guardians of Princess Serenity. She confronted Serenity and Endymion, and killed Endymion while he was trying to protect Serenity. Serenity, heartbroken, committed suicide, knowing that she would not be able to go on without Endymion by her side. This was the final battle of the Moon Kingdom, for it was destroyed. Queen Serenity, in sorrow of her fallen kingdom, and dead daughter, used all of her power in the Silver Imperium Crystal, to send Serenity, her court, and her love, Endymion to be reborn in the future on Earth.

Serena and Darien, the story of the Present

Serenity and her prince ended up in modern day Tokyo, Japan. Serenity is now known as Serena, and Endymion goes by Darien. Serena is 14 years old, boy crazy, klutzy, irresponsible, loving, energetic, and loyal. Darien is 19 years old, studious, aloof, and loves to tease the 14 year old Serena. Serena and Darien BOTH tease each other where ever, and whenever they meet...and they sure do meet a lot!! Secretly they are completely and helplessly in love with each other. (Of Course)

Serena and Darien also both lead secret lives. Serena is the super heroine Sailor Moon, the leader of the 5 sailor scouts. Darien, on the other hand, is the mysterious Tuxedo Mask. Tuxedo Mask always appears and helps the scouts out in a bind, but nobody's really sure whose side he's on since he seems to have an obsession with getting the rainbow crystals. The scouts mission on the other hand is to fight off the Negaverse, find the Moon Princess, and protect her. Obviously nobody remembers their past lives, but they all accept their destinies (except Serena).

One day Serena was on her way to a scout meeting when she ran into Darien. In their normal spirit of things, she slaps him on the back and tells him that there was a bee. Darien, didn't do his usual teasing back, and this greatly worried Serena. When Serena looked at her hand, she discovered that Darien was actually bleeding. Serena then decided to follow Darien to make sure that he was o.k.. While following him, Darien and Serena get sucked into the starlight tower by Zoicite from the Negaverse. Zoicite and Darien had planned to duke it out over the rainbow crystals. Darien and Serena soon found themselves trapped in an elevator, on their way to meet Zoicite.

While in the elevator on their way to the roof, Serena and Darien form some what of a peaceful friendship with each other. Serena, as Sailor Moon, curious about why Zoicite wanted Darien, asked him about the Rainbow Crystals. Darien then goes on to tell Serena why he is searching for the Rainbow Crystals. Firstly, Darien was in a car crash when he was very young and lost both of his parents, so he somewhat does not know who he is. Not to mention that every night, Darien has a dream of this beautiful princess. She asks him to bring her the Silver Imperium Crystal, and then he wakes up. Darien confides in her that he feels that he somehow already knows this girl, and that she can tell him whom he is. Serena, although secretly somewhat jealous of this Dream Princess of Darien's, is also touched by the story.

The elevator stops, and Serena and Darien are being attacked by a fire blast from Zoicite. As far as Serena's concerned, it's either let Darien know of her secret identity as Sailor Moon, or get toasted. Serena, chooses to let Darien know who she is, and transforms right in front of Darien. Darien can't believe it, SERENA is Sailor Moon. Then, of course Darien has to transform in front of Sailor Moon, so that she knows that her dream hunk (Tuxedo Mask) is one in the same as her nemesis, (who she also secretly loves) Darien. (Trip out on that for a minute).

While pondering those thoughts, Zoicite decides that it's time to take out Tuxedo Mask, and hurls a huge black crystal at him. Sailor Moon tries to warn him, just as the other scouts burst in, and Tuxie is down for the count. Sailor Moon immediately begins to cry, she can't believe that Darien is dying. This overrides her emotions, and this causes a chain of events. First, the rainbow crystals form into the Silver Imperium Crystal, which reveals Sailor Moon as the true Princess of the Moon!!! Then, as Serena turns into Princess Serenity, Darien turns into Prince Endymion, and Darien and Serena remember their past lives. To top it all off, Princess Serenity then holds up the Silver Imperium Crystal and takes out Zoicite. The Scouts watch the whole thing take place and can barely believe their eyes. Then just as the Scouts are trying to wake up a collapsed Sailor Moon, and hurt Tuxedo Mask, Malacite appears and takes away Darien.

Neo-Queen Serenity and Neo-King Endymion, the Story of the Future

Ok, first off, I would like to say that this page is kind of difficult since there's no definate story of Usagi and Mamoru in the future. We only get glimses here and there throughout the Manga and the Anime of what they are really like and what happens to them.

So first off, there are 2 different versions of How the Crystal Millinium was created.

1. The Manga which is the true story of Sailor Moon. In the Manga, the Crystal Millinium was created right after Eternal Sailor Moon sealed away Chaos and defeated Galaxia. After the battle, Usagi and Mamoru awake in bed together in a Crystal Palace and Mamoru asks Usagi to marry him. Then it shows the wedding, and they become the King and Queen of the Earth, Moon and Universe.

2. The Anime which is the story that most of us are familiar with. In the anime, supposedly the Earth became covered in ice. It's not told how the Earth became covered in ice, or how Neo-Queen Serenity WASN'T an ice cube herself, but Neo-Queen Serenity used the Imperium Silver Crystal to unfreeze the Earth. Then she created Crystal Tokyo, which is an almost Eternal City. We know that she and Mamoru are now known as Neo-King Endymion rule there over the Earth.

That being said, here is the story of the future as we know it.

Neo-Queen Serenity and Neo-King Endymion live peacefully and almost eternally in the 30th centery in a place called Crystal Tokyo. Crystal Tokyo is a city that was created by Serenity and Endymion. The residents of Crystal Tokyo live for 1000s of years, their lives being exteneded by the life force and power of the Imperium Silver Crystal. Serenity and Endymion have a daughter in this time period, a sole heir of the Moon Kingdom, and the Universe, as well as the Earth Kingdom, Tsukino Serenity Usagi, bearing the same name as her Mother. She is called Small Lady, a nickname given to her by her best friend Sailor Pluto, the Guardian of Time and Space. Small Lady, even though being over 200 years old, still looks like a child, and her Moon Powers have yet to be awakened. In an attempt to awaken her powers to prove to herself that she truly is her parents' child, she goes into the room where the Silver Imperium Crystal is held and grabs the crystal. At that very moment, The Black Moon Family, having a vendetta against Serenity attack Crystal Tokyo, and it's Queen. Serenity's body is protected by Crystal. In the anime, the inner senshi are using their lifeforces and planet power to protect Serenity from an attack from the Black Crystal, but in the manga, Serenity is simply trapped in a crystal in the palace, waiting for her body to heal, and her guardians and her dear husband are all in a deep sleep on beds in another room.

Neo-King Endymion was able to use his still functioning mind, and what little power he had to project an image of himself to try to save his Kingdom, and his beloved. Small Lady, hearing stories of the legendary champion of Love and Justice from the past (not knowing it was her Mother, Serenity) stole one of Sailor Pluto's Time Keys and went to the past to find Sailor Moon to save her Parents and her Kingdom.

Neo-King Endymion sent his past self, Mamoru, dreams of Serenity being killed should he stay with Usagi. So Mamoru dumps Usagi, with no explanations in an attempt to protect her...from what? Usagi is very upset about this, and now, she also has some strange little girl who likes Mamoru, living in her home, ChibiUsa aka Small Lady. Over time, ChibiUsa warms up to Usagi, discovering that Usagi is in fact the Sailor Soldier of the past who she came to ask to save her Kingdom. Once asked, Sailor Moon and the other soldiers decided to travel to the future with ChibiUsa to save ChibiUsa's mother. (Usagi's Future Self) Usagi, and Mamoru having come to the conclusion that they don't care if some dream says Usagi will die if they stay together, Mamoru is back on the sceen and accompanies ChibiUsa and the soldiers to the future as well.

Upon arriving in the future, they are in for quite a suprize. They are greeted by...Tuxedo Mask?!?!?...but no, he's different from Tuxedo Mask, and just a hologram Sailor Moon soon finds out. He introduces himself as Neo-King Endymion, and confirms that he is Tuxedo Masks' future self. Endymion then explains to the soldiers the events that led up to them being transported to the future, and also tells them who ChibiUsa actually is. (ohhh, embarassment for Usagi and Mamoru)

Sailor Moon and ChibiUsa end up defeating the Black Moon Family Together with the crystal from the future, and Sailor Moon's present day crystal. ChibiUsa's powers finally awakend, by the Black Moon no less, but that's another story...awakens her sleeping Mother in the future. Serenity goes to awaken her sweet husband, and her dear friends. Endymion awakens first, and is relieved to see his wife alive and well. The Guardian Solders of the future also awaken, and Serenity uses her powers to restore Crystal Tokyo to it's beauty, while waiting for her daughter to come back from the past.

The only other times we hear about Serenity and Endymion are when ChibiUsa is in the past for Sailor Soldier training and Serenity sends letters to her.
