Ratings & Details:
Since I have begun trading with digital traders, it has become apparent that I need to upgrade my rating system. I have attempted to do this in a clear and more accurate manner. A sound quality rating on my list is usually +/- 1 (meaning that if a show is listed as a 9 it should be considered as 9 +/- 1). If you feel that a request I taped for you has an offbase rating or isn't what its supposed to be, please inform me and I will tape something else to replace it and amend my list (having over 2500 listings sometimes makes it difficult to check and recheck shows for ratings). If you have questions about a tape, I am more than happy to review the show and give you an appraisal if the rating is accurate or not. Some of the lower rated shows may be under-rated so if you are interested in a show but the rating is low - please ask me to review rating on the show and I will be more than happy to investigate the show further...

NOTE: I arbitrarlily moved the rating on all of my shows down one notch. I then reviewed my "9" rated tapes to see if any were worth a "10" rating - I'm pretty sure a "10" is a "10"....

NOTE - since I have digital CD-R capability, this has forced me to revamp my generation designations in the following manner:
In all cases the first letter denotes if the copy is an analog (cassette or video tape) copy or a digital copy (CD-R, DAT etc.), the second letter or number denotes the generation. M - is the master copy from the source. This is technically the 1st copy or generation so the next copy off the master is denoted as the 2nd generation or if a digital copy is made off the analog master, the digital copy will be the 1st generation off the analog master (denoted as A1D1) and so on. I know this is somewhat confusing but until a standard is worked out, I will adopt this generation system.
Please also note - if no generation appears - I don't know the generation and it is an analog copy...
Here is some additional clarification:
AM - Analog master off radio broadcast or original audience/soundboard recording
A2 - Analog generations from original source (this is the 2 generation or 1 gen from the master)
A1D1 - Indicates a digital copy of the analog master
A?D1 - Digital copy of an analog copy of unknown generations
DM - Digital master off radio broadcast or original audience/soundboard recording
D2 - Digital generations from original source
D1A1 - Usually indicates that an analog tape recording of a CD/DAT tape was done
NOTE: If you have a better way of denoting generations when mixing digital and analog - please let me know...
