HOOVER DAM
Buffy: "Look at the size of that thing!"
Wesley: "Dam!"
Hoover Dam was named for President Herbert Hoover, NOT after a vacuum cleaner company. The dam was built during the Depression, 1931-1935. In answer to stories that people are buried in concrete at the dam, the Bureau of Reclamation says, "There are no bodies buried in Hoover Dam. In fact we call that a Dam Rumor."
