Daria/ Daria Sarah/Quinn(Daria's year-younger sister) Emily/Jane(Daria's best friend and an art-lover) Kevin/Trent(Emily's older brother. out of high school and living at home) Eddy/ Upchuck (Hits on all the girls) Ed/Kevin(football team quarterback, not that bright) Nazz/Brittany (cheerleader. Ed's girlfriend. not that bright) Lee, May, Marie(Follow Sarah around, agreeing with her, asking her how to be popular.) Rolf/Mack(Fellow football player. straight-A student) Edd/Tom (Goes to a prep school. at first dates Emily, but they soon break up and he dates Daria instead)

Mr. Demartino- has a weird speach pattern. eye bulges out every once in a while
Mr. O'neill-overly optimistic english teacher
Mrs. DeFoe- art Teacher
Ms. Li- principal. always wants to bring honor to Peach Creek High
Ms. Barch- divorced husband of 22 years and now hates all men. but seems to have a relationship with mr. o'neill
Helen- a business woman that is Daria and Sarah's mother
Jake -the father, always worries about his childhood and if he's being a good dad. works as a consultant
Mrs. Bennett- Economics teacher
Now for the story
*daria and sarah are being driven to peach creek high*
Jake: Now, girls, it's a new school, and it'll be hard to adjust---
Daria: Dad, we're here.
*sarah gets out of the car*
Popular girl: Hi, you're cool. what's your name?
Sarah: Sarah Morgandorffer
Popular boy: Cool name
*kids surrounds sarah. Daria walks past them and heads to her locker*
Daria:*Flatly*What a frenzied moment that was.

Mr. Demartino: Welcome back CLASS! Its a NEW year at PEACH Creek HIGH.

Daria: Yeah, his eyes bulge out and everything.

Mr. DeMartino: And CLASS, may I WELCOME our NEWEST student. Meet Daria Morgendorffer.
*the class is silent*
Mr. DeMartino: And now, can ANY of the class answer my QUESTION: WHO is the one who invented the COTTON gin?
*the class remains silent*
Mr. DeMartino: ED!

*Later, in the hallway, lee, marie, and may are following sarah around as they pass daria and emily at daria's locket*

*later, Emily is hanging out in Daria's room. They're watching "Cruel, Cruel World"
Reporter: Are rats hogging YOUR phone lines? Phone rat disasters, next on Cruel, Cruel world."
Daria: No, rats aren't hogging the phone line, unless you count Sarah.
*down in the kitchen, Daria's dad, Jake, is working on something strange for dinner. Helen walks in*
Helen: Well, I'm back from the meeting, and it's a total bust, but I'm glad to be home for dinner.....ugh! Jake, what is that smell!
Jake: I thought I'd try making some Wusabi for dinner tonight. You know, MY dad never cooked dinner, he always made my poor MOTHER cook dinner! WELL YOU KNOW WHAT DAD!? IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF YOU HELPED OUT!!
Helen: Jake!

*in the living room, Sarah's on the phone.*
Sarah:....Well you know, Marie, I'd never mix plaid and floral. It works, yet it clashes! Hang on, someone's on the other line. Hello? Jimmy!? Oh, of COURSE I have nothing planned on Friday, I'd LOVE to! 7 PM? Great! Bye. Okay, here I am, Marie. Anyway....hang on, someone's on the other line again. Hello? Hi, May! Yes, yes, I know. Oh, no! Emily: Your walls may be padded, but I can still hear your sister.
Daria: That's what drove me to insanity in the first place.

*Later at the dinner table. Jake, Helen, Daria and Emily are sitting at the table*

Sarah: *from oher room* Fine! *comes in and sits down, while still on the phone*

Helen: Get off the Phone

Sarah: Fine! I have to go May, I'll call you later bye! *switches over to other line* I have to go Marie. ... Yeah... O I got a beep! well. bye! *switches over* O Hi Lee! WHat? Really! O well... *sad* I have to go.. yeah I have to eat... Bye! *hangs up*

Emily: Is it usually like this?

Daria: No. I usually only hear the phone ring once a week when its for Sarah.

Sarah: It's the other way around!
Daria: Oh, sure...
Helen: Girls!
Jake: uh...does anyone want more biscuts?

Daria: Oh is that what this is?

Helen: Your father tried hard on this dinner.

Jake: Yes. Your FATHER did.
