	To Ed And Beyond by: Jack (Ed is in his room playing with a model rocket and an alien toy) Ed: (In alien voice) ha ha ha ha ha, I have found the Earth colony space ship and now you will pay with your brains! (In human voice) Oh no! Who is going to save us now! (In Superhero voice) It is I, Uncle Fungus here to destory you evil alien bounty hunter! [Ed starts to punch the alien as Double-D and Eddy arrive] Eddy: Ed, what are you doing? Ed: I am Uncle Fungus I have saved the Earth colony space ship from the evil alien tyrant! Eddy: Ed are you feeling all right, Ed: I have super powers [Goes to closet and changes to a yellow and red costume with a UF in the center] and will save the cul-de-sac from any super villain! Eddy: Psst, Double-D what is Ed doing, and why? Double-D: It is those comics Eddy! It is like salt to a snail, it drains the brain of any rational thought and makes the reader enraptured in this disgrace to science fiction. Also on top of that they will never be able to read any good literature! Eddy: Can you put that in English so I can understand? Double D: Okay Eddy, here is the overview, Ed read a comic that had a superhero in it. Now Ed wants to be one. Eddy: That weird, but why Uncle Fungus? Double D: That is mystery we might never solve, where did he go? Eddy: I was listening to your boring lecture on comics I wasn’t paying attention. Double D: What if he is telling the other kids about this? He would be embarrassing be to a whole other extent. Eddy: Let’s see what Uncle Fungus is up to! [Johnny is stuck in a tree, again!] Johnny: Plank is usually back by now I wonder where is he. Ed: I will find your pal and get you out of that tree! Johnny: Um, okay I guess but who are you? Ed: I am Uncle Fungus and now I will fly up the tree, [After repeated tries at “flying”, Ed starts to climb the tree] now I will use my super-duper-jalluper climbing ability! [Ed starts to climb but gets scared] um I hear someone who needs greater help, but I will send my sidekick FrogMouth Kid to save you! Eddy: Ed get back here! Ed: FrogMouth Kid it is you go save Johnny and his chump Plank! Eddy: I am not saving anyone Ed! Ed: But FrogMouth Kid [whispers] Ed is secret indignity and Eddy is your secret indignity! Double D: I believe Ed means identity not indignity. Johnny: CAN ANYONE HELP ME! Eddy: Fine, Double D follow Ed Double D: Right-o! [Eddy lifts Johnny out of the tree] Eddy: Now I have to find Double D and Uncle Fungus- Johnny: What about Plank? Uncle Fungus promised he would find Plank! Eddy: Wait till I get my hands on that lump! [Nazz and Kevin are on Kevin’s bike] Double D: Ed wait up, you are going too fast. Ed: I won’t speak to you until you call me by my superhero name, Uncle Fungus. Oh no, I have to save Nazz from that space shuttle she is on! Double D: That is Kevin’s bike Ed, oops I mean Uncle Fungus. Kevin is going to be so mad! Ed: Unhand her evil shuttle thief! Kevin: What are you dorking about Ed? Ed: Holy Poly! He knows my secret indignity! Double D: Identity! Identity! For Pete’s sake! Kevin: Hey Double dork, what is your friend doing? Double D: It is a long story but Ed thinks he is a superhero named Uncle Fungus. Kevin: The dork thinks he’s got super powers? That’s hilarious huh Nazz? Nazz: What is wrong with you guys, so he thinks he is superhero just play along with it! Kevin: I’m sorry Nazz, you are always right about stuff. Ed: I will save you Nazz, [Picks up the bike and puts it in a tree, with Nazz and Kevin] Nazz: Okay time to stop the game… [Eddy found Plank] Eddy: There I found Plank, give me a quarter. Johnny: Uncle Fungus didn’t ask for a quarter! Eddy: Well I’m not a “superhero”. Johnny: You’re a sidekick, FrogMouth Kid! Eddy: FINE! I have to go find Uncle Fungus. [Eddy meets up with Double D] Double D: Where were you! Ed stuck Kevin, his bike and Nazz in a tree! Eddy: I had to deal with finding Plank. Double D: What about the other kids, I better go to find Jimmy and Sarah, Eddy you find Rolf and tell them about our problem with Uncle Fungus Eddy: Whatever sock head, THE END
