Hancock County Georgia - Court of Ordinary Minutes 1799-1817 

Released in April 1999, is the first minutes record book of Hancock County, Georgia to be published.  This book is entitled  Hancock County Georgia - Court of Ordinary Minutes 1799-1817  and contains the transcription of the original 780 pages of this book.  These minutes deals primarily with guardianships and  administrations of estates.  Hancock County was one of the earliest counties in Georgia and many  genealogical researchers should be interested in the publication as well as the citizens of the area.  The index contains some 10,000 name entries of persons, once of residence there.  It was completed with the support of the R.J.
