I found that most of the rest of the violence was strongly implied. mainly because we aleady know what is going to happen to most of the Jews, who are sent to the camps. Everyone knows exactly what is going to happen to the people being matched into the `showers', and why some of the others are digging such large trenches.
Quite a few minor characters are just shot outright, as well. But it is only violent by todays standards because we know it really happened. And the German army officers killing so indesrimatly were real people, who really did do all of the things showen in the film.
But, I think, Schindler's List is a extremly good movie and well worth watching. Even if you don't normally like movies with so much violence in it, it is worth it. It's well enough made, so the 3 hours just fly by and it is a lot better than the average "based on a true story" type of film.
Liam shines in his as Schindler, it's one of the few times I almost forget I am watching him. (Obivously Schindler's List is one of the best movies he's been in, and he helps to make it as good as it is). And this movie does prove how capiable Liam is of wonderful acting.
Even if you don't like the subject matter, this movie is well worth seeing. It's certainly one of the few 3 hour movies that has intertested me enough to completly forget the time and just watch it stright through. Personally, I think it's a movie verison of a book yuo can't put down - no matter how viloent some parts become you just have to finish watching it.
