"A Brief Interview with Bunnie Rabbot"
With Special Musical Guests: The Brotherhood of Guardians
By Joshua
Josh: Good day Sonic Fans! This is Josh Knode with a brand spankin' new "Sonic Talk". Today's guests are Bunnie Rabbot and musical guests "The Brotherhood of Guardians". This should be kinda strange. And now for our first guest. Bunnie Rabbot, thank you for appearing.
Bunnie: No problem, shugah.
Josh:Okay, let's get started. First of all, I hear you have a new solo story coming up?
Bunnie: That's raht, in the new Supah Sonic Special.
Josh: I expected as much--you ARE one of the more popular female characters.
Bunnie: Yep, but it wasn't easy. It took plenty of work ta get ta wheah ah am today.
Josh: Being half-roboticised and all.
Bunnie: Yessuh, thayat was a sacrifahs ah made foah mah public.
Josh: So...you and Antoine, huh? Who really saw THAT coming?
Bunnie: Not me, shugah, took me bah surprahs.
Josh: Well, you're not the only one! I was blown away! No offense to your boy-toy, but what is the catch exactly?
Bunnie: That acc-ayant. It just drahves me crazy.
Josh: I've heard it said that his accent is horribly incorrect, though.
Bunnie: Incorrect or not, ah lahk it.
Josh: Well, I can see the Brotherhood is just about set up, so let's squeeze in one more question: If you and Mighty the Armadillo were in an arm-wrestling contest, do you think you'd win?
Bunnie: (holds up robotic arm) Depends on which arm, shugah.
Josh: (laughs) I guess it would. Well (calls over shoulder to Brotherhood) you guys are about ready, I see.
Steppenwolf: Yes.
Josh: So I see this is the old-school group introduced in Knuckles #25.
Steppenwolf: Yes--this is my son Moonwalker on lead guitar, his son Harlan on the bass, and HIS son Rembrandt playing on the drums.
Josh: Now, I don't think I'm the only one who wonders why you guys started a band!
Moonwatcher: Something to do between wars.
Steppenwolf: We can't be fighting all the time, and we got bored.
Josh: So what are you going to play for us today?
Moonwatcher: This is something me and Rembrandt wrote, called, appropriately, "Brotherhood of Guardians".
Josh: Okay, then. Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, the greatest band on the Floating Island--the Brotherhood of Guardians!
"Brotherhood of Guardians"
Lyrics by Moonwatcher and Rembrandt
Sung to the tune of "Popular Americans" by All-Star United.
(Apologies to All-Star United.)
(Verse One)
From the House of Acorn
to Heaven's gate
Great Lake to the Forbidden Zone
There's a hip new feelin'
that's awfully appealin'
that we play to make known.
Stay in line
If you want to stay our friends.
(Chorus)
We're the ones,
We're the Brotherhood of Guardians,
Ohhhhh--we back on the scene.
(Verse Two)
If you're comin' to the Island
then you'd better fall behind us,
'cus we're cooler than an Eskimo's fridge.
And if you're a villian,
then you'd better get a' chillin'
Or we'll toss your butt off the edge.
When in doubt,
We consult Christopheles.
(Chorus)
(Guitar solo, Moonwatcher jumps off an amplifier and Rembrandt tosses his drum sticks in the audience.)
(Verse Three)
When you're this prestigious,
It can make you half-religious,
In a patriotic sort of way.
Our honour says we must
be always fair and just--
--but you'd better stay out of our way.
Nine out of ten
Echidnas agree.
(Chorus Two)
We're the ones,
We're the Brotherhood of Guardians,
Ooohh, yeah, bet you wish you were me.
Having fun,
We're the Brotherhood of Guardians.
Ooohhh, we back on the scene.
(Ends with drum solo, and fishpots firing up all around the Brotherhood.)
Josh: Wow! Let's hear it for Steppenwolf, Moonwatcher, Harlan, and Rembrandt--the Brotherhood of Guardians!
(All bow)
Josh: I'd love to have you guys back sometime.
Steppenwolf: We'd love to come back.
Josh: I'd like to thank our other guest, Bunnie Rabbot, and, of course, all of you for watching. Join us next week when our guest will be Amy Rose! Thank you all and good night!

curious tourists have stopped by to talk with Bunnie and the Brotherhood since August 23, 1999. Of course, they all got their butts "tossed off the edge". Can ya tell I liked the second verse best? (hee hee)
