A Brief Interview With Espio the Chameleon

Josh: Good evening! And welcome to another "Sonic Talk"! This week I'd like to welcome one of my favorite Chaotix members, Espio the Chameleon! (Looks around) Now, he was sitting here a few seconds ago...
Espy: (Fades in) BOO!!
Josh: (Jumps, scattering his index cards as he does so) AAHHH!! Oh, yes, you do that blending thing, don't you? Don't DO that again! (bends over to pick the cards up.)
Jon Fawn: Way to scare the crap out of the host, Espy!
Espy: Thank you, Jon. Nice to be on the show, Josh!
Josh: Yeah, thanks for coming. So, let's get started shall we?
Espy: Right.
Josh: So, a lot's been going on in the Knuckles comics lately, huh?
Espy: Oh, yeah, with Charmy leaving, Julie-Su and Knux dating, and a guest-shot from Princess Sally!
Josh: Not a quiet moment, huh?
Espy: Well, actually I wasn't in the last issue--the rest of the Chaotix and I did a toothpaste commercial in Japan.
Josh: Ohh, so, you're reappearing soon?
Espy: Waiting for the call.
Josh: I've heard you once comment that your friends wonder why you even hang out with Vector.
Espy: Yeah, he can be a bit brash at times.
Josh: Why exactly do you hang out with him?
Espy: Oh, I've been through so many battles with him, I don't think I'd feel right NOT hanging out with him. I do apologise for how he canned you on your show, however.
Josh: Don't! It was one of my most popular interviews!
(Lara-Le walks by, carrying a laundry basket.)
Lara-Le: Hello, Josh.
Josh: Hey, Lara.
Espy: What is Knux's mom doing here?
Josh: Oh, she's the downstairs neighbor. Her dryer's messed up, so she's been using mine.
(Lara walks by again, the basket full of whites)
Lara: 'Scuse me, ladies unmentionables coming through.
Josh: Uh...Lara? See that red light above my head? When that's on, we're live.
Lara: (blushing with embarrassment as she looks into the cameras) Oh, I'm terribly sorry. I thought this was a rehearsal.
Josh: You don't rehearse LIVE interviews!
Lara: Oh, I guess you don't, do you? Well, Ill be careful from now on. Ta!
Josh: (sighs) Now, where were we?
Espy: Your interview with Vector.
Josh: Oh, yeah, great one. Anyway, one last question. What colour are you exactly? I've seen you as everything from a dark plum to a light violet.
Espy: Oh, I'd say light purple but it mainly depends on the colourist. Of course, I can be any colour I want, being a chameleon...(he changes through every shade of purple there is, then starts to blend in with the chair again.)
Josh: STOP that! Okay, well, then, thank you for doing the show, Espy.
Espy's Voice: No problem.
Josh: Join us next time, Sonicfans, when my guest will be Princess Sally Acorn! Have a great night, Sonicfans!
