A Brief Interview With Knuckles the Echidna

CK: Welcome to my second edition of "The Coolest Stars of Mobius". If you are wondering who I am, I am a cuisinart, as my name suggests. A cuisinart is a kind of death-knight, or a walking pile of plate armour.* However, I am also a Sonicfan, so I am decent, though. All right, now we have a very special guest. He's Knuckles!
Knux: Thanks, CK. You do look eerie, but I guess you are like other ordinary people.
CK: Thanks for that! So, where do you come from and what are your duties?
Knux: I am an echidna who is one of the descendants of the Guardian family. Our generations had one liftetime task--to protect the Master Emerald.
CK: Whoah, what a dutiful job. So, why is the M.E. so important?
Knux: Well, the M.E. keeps the Floating Island afloat. Without it, the Island will fall. In fact, the M.E. has a lot of superpowers! That is why I am bound to defend the M.E., at all costs.
CK: Good one. That also explains your quote in Sonic Adventure.
Knux: I really thank Uncle Yuji for helping me appear in Sonic Adventure and putting my quote there too. I wonder whether Chaos will steal the M.E...?
CK: Well, Chaos has better things to do with his time than to take something guarded by such a great person. So, how did you meet Sonic and Tails? What about Julie-Su?
Knux: Well, the first time I met Sonic and Tails was the time they crashed into the Angel Island Zone. At that time, Robotnik told me that they were here to steal the M.E. So I devised many traps to stop them. However, it was Robotnik himself who was the thief! After that, I began to patch things up with Sonic and Tails and we became best of friends. I also have other friends, the Chaotix. Julie-Su wasn't in the Chaotix until later, but I fuond that I have...a crush on her!
CK: It seems that you have fallen in love with her! As we speak, here's your girlfriend!
(Julie-Su walks into the studio and takes a seat beside Knuckles.)
Julie: Hi, CK! I hope I wasn't interrupting you. Joshua did a really good job interviewing me, and I came over to see how my dear Knuxie is doing.
Knux: Well, I am doing fine. CK is a great interviewer.
CK: Okay, Julie. How did you and Knux come together?
Julie: Oh, at first I found Knux boring and uninteresting. To make things worse, he is the Guardian of the Floating Island and surely, he has no time for me. But when we started to date me, I was surprised. He even said that he loves me and that he would be willing to set aside some time every day for me! As time passed, our feelings became closer. That's how Knuxie and I are together now.
CK: A romantic sequence of events. So, Knux, how are you managing your time now?
Knux: Now, there are not many villians around, so I have more free time with Julie. I also visit Sonic and Tails regularly. If we have time, we will even hold picnics and parties to celebrate. Looks like we are having even more luxurious lives now!
