The Legend of Zelda
(Or Some Other Princess, Anyway)
Taken directly from the instruction manual of the original 1986 Nintendo Entertainment System game--the only changes are the blanks.
Yes, a mad lib about a DIFFERENT video game on a SONIC site! Oh, come on, you guys, be open-minded! Zelda was one of my earlier game passions, and I thought it only fair to include the Mad Libs I made off of it.
A Long, Long Time Ago, the World was in an Age of Chaos...
In the midst of this chaos, in a little kingdom in the land of (A Place), a legend was being (Verb, Past Tense) down from generation to generation, the legend of the "Triforce"; golden (Plural Noun) posessing mystical powers.
One day an evil army attacked this peaceful little kingdom and stole the Triforce of (Abstract Noun or Emotion). This army was led by (Famous Male), the powerful (Title) of Darkness, who sought to plunge the world into fear and darkness under his rule. Fearing his wicked rule, (Famous Female), the Princess of this kingdom, split up the Triforce of (Another Abstract Noun or Emotion) into (Number) fragments, and hid them throughout the realm to save the last remaining Triforce from the clutches of the evil (Evil Wizard's name).
At the same time, she commanded her most (Adjective) nursemaid, (Famous Female), to (Adverb) escape into the land and go find a/an (Noun) with enough courage to destroy the evil (Wizard). Upon hearing this, (Wizard) grew angry, imprisoned the Princess, and sent out a (Noun) in search of (Nursemaid). Braving (Plural Noun) and (Plural Noun), (Nursemaid) (Verb, Past Tense) for her life from her pursuers. As she reached the limit of her energy, she found herself surrounded by (Wizard)'s henchmen! Cornered! What could she do? But wait! All was not lost! A young (Imaginary Creature) appeared. He (Adverb) drove off (Wizard)'s henchmen, and saved (Nursemaid) from a fate worse than death.
His name was (Famous Male). During his travels he had come across (Wizard)'s henchmen. (Nursemaid) told (Hero) the whole story of the Princess (Princess) and the evil (Wizard). Burning with a sense of (Feeling), (Hero) resolved to save Princess (Princess), but (Wizard) was a/an (Adjective) opponent. He held the Triforce of (1st Triforce). And so, in order to fight off (Wizard), (Hero) had to bring the scattered (Same Number) fragments of the Triforce of (2nd Triforce) together in order to rebuild the mystical (Noun that the Triforces are). If he couldn't do this, there would be no chance (Hero) could fight his way into (Place) where (Wizard) lived.
Can (Hero) really destroy (Wizard) and rescue Princess (Princess)?
Only your skill can answer that question. (Adjective) luck.
Use the Triforce (Adverb).
