Absolute Chaotix, Part Thirteen

Pretty Fly For a GREEN Guy...

By Mello Bumblebee

"The dimensional portal?" sighed Vector. "You WOULD have to say that, Might. All right, hang on, it's gonna be a bumpy ride..."
And boy, was he right. The next few minutes--and ONLY a few minutes--were some of the scariest but most fun of Sharon's life. In a short time, they covered an incredible amount of ground--on waterslides, flumes, loop-the-loops, twisting weird spirals--there were things shaped like mechanical HANDS that popped up out of the floor, set them spinning, and caused them to shoot away at incredible speeds when they let go. There were tubes that shot them high into the air, there were places where they went deep underwater and back out again so fast they could barely even feel it, and there were times when they moved so fast they actually hydroplaned right across the surface of the water! Finally they stopped in front of a tall, blank, blue-tiled wall. "This is it," said Vector.
"Where?" asked Sharon, confused.
Vector put his hand straight into the wall. "Here." The others then realised that it was a secret chamber and followed him through the illusory wall.
Inside was a giant gold ring, taller than Vector (who was easily the largest of their group) rotating slowly a few inches off the ground. "Now, we'll all have to go through at the same time or else only the first person will make it through and the portal will disappear, leaving the rest of us stranded." warned Charmy. "So let's all link hands--"they did so "--and JUMP!"

CHOICES:

1. The ring takes them to the Hidden Palace.
2. It takes them somewhere else.--OPEN.
3. It does something completely different.--OPEN.
