Absolute Chaotix, Part Seven

Hang Out Here Often?

Sure enough, Charmy's sometime friend and fellow Chaotix member, Espio, was inside the room.
Problem was, he was unconscious and a pale, sickly lavendar colour instead of his customary deep purple. He was also hanging upside down from the ceiling in a cage! A cage that looked as if its bars were made out of some kind of energy--it was blue-white and crackled nastily with electricity or something less pleasant.
"What the..." wondered Charmy as he flew cautiously forward one step. "Espio?" he called out to the chameleon. "Are you all right? Answer me!" He took another "step" forward, Sharon carefully following behind him.
And then, of course, the door SLAMMED violently shut behind them--about a ton of solid sandstone, six inches thick.
Then the wall started pushing forward into them, forcing them towards the glowing cage that Espio was trapped in.
"Just great," said Sharon sarcastically. "What do we do NOW?!"
"I'm thinking, I'm thinking..." muttered Charmy, fluttering his wings frantically in an effort to keep ahead of the wall, "I'm thinking..."

CHOICES:

1. They attempt to find some way to stop the wall--a secret lever, a panel, whatever--from crushing them--OPEN.
2. They attempt to find some way to deactivate Espio's cage so they don't get zapped--OPEN.
3. They see a strange figure suddenly rush towards them from out of the shadows.
4. Something else, but of course....--OPEN.
