This page has been dedicated to Tony Gubba, the BBC Sports commentator. Firstly, the band must acknowledge that their fascination in the sandy coloured clown is due to a song by Liverpudlian band "Half Man Half Biscuit" which is called "Gubba Look-a-likes". We urge you to listen to the song if possible. It is Genius. So, if you should spot any Gubbas across the country, particularly as they have been turning up frequently, please report them to the band. We can therefore post the sightings on this page and try and work out if a pattern is arising. There were a number of reportings in May. 3 Gubbas were seen running a roadside cafe on the A59 near Giggleswick. They were later accosted and arrested. 27 Gubbas were seen driving in a minibus near Chorlton-cum-hardy in Manchester, were chased for 5 miles by Police, but evaded capture by abandoning their Gubba-wagon and escaping through a wood. A report of 53 Gubbas hanging around at Charnock Richard service Station on the M6 has not been confirmed. if you can add any information to this particular sighting we would be very grateful.
