Is James Gay?
This topic is one of heated debate. My personal opinion is that, no, James is *not* gay.
Okay, so he dresses up like a woman. Alot. But he's also dressed up like an old man, a magician, a hair stylist, a kabuki star, a rocker, among other random things. My point? They're DISGUISES, and most of them are *required* for the evil schemes that he and Jessie come up with. For example, in "Abra and the Psychic Showdown", both he and Jessie dress up in hawaiian hula skirts. They successfully fool Ash, Brock, and Misty into thinking that they are greeters, and that they have a prize for them. Doing this, they get the three to follow them. They *also* successfully steal Pikachu.
You may have seen this picture before. Let me assure you, those are FAKE. James is wearing an inflatable body suit. This is just another example of James doing whatever he must do in the line of duty! In this episode, "Holiday at Aopulco" (which, I may mention, was cut out of the American version for this particular scene), Jessie and James both enter a swimsuit competition. The prize? Money. And if it means earning some extra cash, Jessie and James are in. Well, why only enter Jessie and have only *half* the chance of winning? Why not enter James, too, and raise the possibilities? Makes sense to me!
I know alot of guys out there wouldn't cross-dress to save their lives;
James, on the other hand, has failed and been humiliated so many times, this probably doesn't bother him a bit. He's also very self-confident, and doesn't care what anyone else thinks; he loves himself and that's all that matters. If James wanted to make friends, why would he be a villain? And, as I've said before, he's is a big pushover. So it's likely that alot of the time, he cross-dresses because Jessie orders him to do so. Besides, Team Rocket are the comic relief in the show. Many people find it hilarious when James dresses up. And think about it; James isn't the *only* person in anime who cross-dresses. There are *many* cool, straight people in anime who cross-dress:

And who can forget Jessie, who's done *her* share of cross-dressing at well? At least it's a team effort.
Still want proof? Well, in "The Ghost of Maiden's Peak", James falls in love at first sight with the ghost of the maiden (Yes, "maiden", as in FEMALE.), as seen above. It isn't only obvious by the hearts in his eyes, but his words, too: "Iloveheriloverheriloverherilovher!", "You're beautiful, I'm COMING to you!", "She's the girl of my dreams---don't wake me up!", etc.
And after seeing Giselle, (ugh...stupid freaknasty...) the head student at Pokemon Tec, James' eyes get big and glassy as he comments on how cute she is. (blah!)

Meowth is underrated! I know I'm a total hypocrite when I say that, since I didn't put a picture of him on my main page...well...just for the record, I want everyone to know, it's my FAAAVORITE Pokemon! Meowth is just soooooo adorable! He's really smart, too. He's just the best! Period! There is one thing, though. Many say that Meowth is the only Pokemon that can talk. And what do I say? I say, YOU'RE WRONG! HAHAHAA! Sorry ^_^. Yes, there is Mew Two, but he doesn't vocalize...he mentally speaks. But that's not who I'm talking about... Okay, has *nobody* seen the episode "The Ghost of Maiden's Peak"? Did the Ghastly in that episode not OPEN its mouth and verbalize? ("So, Myyyowth. D'you want to play games with me?") Or am I the only one on Earth that noticed that? Sorry, I just feel like I'm going crazy! Someone please tell me I'm right! :)
The New Team!
Okay, I have to admit, for the longest time, I hated Butch and Cass. I read somewhere that Giovanni fires Jess and Jim later on, and Butch and Cassidy replace them...so I went into an angry rage ^_^. But I've read some future episode summaries, and it looks like B&C only appear in one more episode after "The Breeding Center Secret", in which they make their first appearance...and they NEVER replace Jessie and James! Anyway, since they're no longer a threat, I have to say that I like them alot. Of course, in *my* eyes, they'll never compare to Jess and Jim, but if they're part of Team Rocket, they *have* to be cool, right? ^_^ True, this, um, conversion of mine only happened a couple of days ago...my friends don't know about it yet...and they all hate B&C...*cringe* Anyway, I did have a huge rant up here talking about how much I hated Butch and Cassidy, but since my feelings have changed, I'll tone it down a little. ^_^. Well, alot. And if I tease either Butch or Cassidy, I do it only out of humor. Ha! Ha!
Okay, let's talk style. Yeah, I have to say, I like J&J's outfits better...B&C's look too...spandexy...but Cassidy's hair is cool. It's got stars at the end. I'm really into stars! And, well, I don't really like Butch's haircolor as much as James'...but I guess it's okay. Anyway, off of the subject of looks...
Not that this has to do with anything, but I really don't think that Butch would make as cool of a chick as James...that is, if he ever decided to cross-dress... especially with that voice of his...we love you, Butch, but you need to stop smoking those 30 packs of cigs a day, bud! We don't want you to die of emphysema!
Butch and Cassidy seem to be pretty smart when it comes to stealing Pokemon. It's obvious that they're more on the Boss' good side than Jess and Jim are...Cass has great skills of manipulation, and she seems to know how to act around people. She takes charge alot. Go, Cass! Girl Power! Err...Butch, on the other hand, rarely talks...maybe it just hurts to talk at all. But he pretty much just hangs out and assists Cassidy.
Okay, now, the only *huge* problem that I have with the new Team, though, is...their Pokemon. Raticate. Ahhh! It's really scary! It can't talk, can't fight, it wouldn't make a good pet, a good meal, ANYTHING! It's completely *useless*! How could it EVER compare to Meowth? Now, I'll end it this by sharing some advice that I recently received from a very nice guy named Angrychair...don't *ever* believe rumors! NEVER! Okay? ^_^

-You know something I've noticed about anime characters? Every-single-one that I've *ever* seen has bangs! Except, of course, Jessie and James.
-Jessie and James would be sooo cute together. ^_^
-Eric Stuart once said that he likes to do Brock's voice better than James'. How could *anyone* have more fun with Brock than with James? I just don't see it. Well, I may be a little partial to James, but still...!

-Why doesn't Jessie use Lickitung after "Princess vs. Princess?" It's *obviously* much more powerful than Arbok...I guess I can assume that Jessie must really like Arbok *alot*..Oh yeah, and exactly WHEN did James catch a Weepinbell in the first place?
-Lickitung is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cuuuute!!!
-When Arbok says its name, it sounds more like "Charbaka". So I've gotten used to calling it that.
-I think that Ekans/Arbok is female and Koffing/Weezing is male. That's just my theory.

-How do you REALLY spell Jessie's name? I've seen it many, many ways. I prefer "Jessie", and that's the way I've seen it the most. The "Jessy" spelling is just plain scary. Although that seems to be Closed Captioning's favorite. (Oooh! Scary!) And "Jesse" is the GUY way to spell it. I've even seen it the freaky eighties spelling, "Jessi". Eek!
-It's really fun to go into Wal-Mart wearing a Jessie outfit and start singing Limp Bizkit's "Nookie" really loud in the produce section.
-It's even more fun to walk to Wal-mart at 5 o'clock in the morning wearing the "coooool!" outfits that Team Rocket wore in "Battle aboard the St. Anne"...and pick up pet Brock's on the way.
-Jessie and James must be of pretty high-rank in Team Rocket. They may not succeed very often, but the boss must like them alot if he let hi top pokemon work for them... Also, their outfits are different from everyone else's...the other rocket members (including Butch and Cassidy) all have black uniforms, while Jess and Jim have white.
-This hasn't really got anything to do with Team Rocket, but my wonderful friend "Misty" went to the doctor's office once, and there was a nurse there named...guess what...? Joy!
-Eric Stuart is one of the most talented voice actors alive, but...HE TOTALLY DOES NOT GIVE JAMES ANY CREDIT! I recently read an interview between him and Animerica, and all he could comment on was how wonderful BROCK was...igh...He DID say that James was "a goofball" and "wore a dress too much". You're the man, Eric, but..James is the BEST! Open your eyes! *Brock* sure doesn't seem to be able to...

Okay, I have to admit, for the longest time, I hated Butch and Cass. I read somewhere that Giovanni fires Jess and Jim later on, and Butch and Cassidy replace them...so I went into an angry rage ^_^. But I've read some future episode summaries, and it looks like B&C only appear in one more episode after "The Breeding Center Secret", in which they make their first appearance...and they NEVER replace Jessie and James! Anyway, since they're no longer a threat, I have to say that I like them alot. Of course, in *my* eyes, they'll never compare to Jess and Jim, but if they're part of Team Rocket, they *have* to be cool, right? ^_^ True, this, um, conversion of mine only happened a couple of days ago...my friends don't know about it yet...and they all hate B&C...*cringe* Anyway, I did have a huge rant up here talking about how much I hated Butch and Cassidy, but since my feelings have changed, I'll tone it down a little. ^_^. Well, alot. And if I tease either Butch or Cassidy, I do it only out of humor. Ha! Ha!
Okay, let's talk style. Yeah, I have to say, I like J&J's outfits better...B&C's look too...spandexy...but Cassidy's hair is cool. It's got stars at the end. I'm really into stars! And, well, I don't really like Butch's haircolor as much as James'...but I guess it's okay. Anyway, off of the subject of looks...
Not that this has to do with anything, but I really don't think that Butch would make as cool of a chick as James...that is, if he ever decided to cross-dress... especially with that voice of his...we love you, Butch, but you need to stop smoking those 30 packs of cigs a day, bud! We don't want you to die of emphysema!
Butch and Cassidy seem to be pretty smart when it comes to stealing Pokemon. It's obvious that they're more on the Boss' good side than Jess and Jim are...Cass has great skills of manipulation, and she seems to know how to act around people. She takes charge alot. Go, Cass! Girl Power! Err...Butch, on the other hand, rarely talks...maybe it just hurts to talk at all. But he pretty much just hangs out and assists Cassidy.
Okay, now, the only *huge* problem that I have with the new Team, though, is...their Pokemon. Raticate. Ahhh! It's really scary! It can't talk, can't fight, it wouldn't make a good pet, a good meal, ANYTHING! It's completely *useless*! How could it EVER compare to Meowth? Now, I'll end it this by sharing some advice that I recently received from a very nice guy named Angrychair...don't *ever* believe rumors! NEVER! Okay? ^_^

-You know something I've noticed about anime characters? Every-single-one that I've *ever* seen has bangs! Except, of course, Jessie and James.
