Barca ask for full stadium and full fan support

Barcelona's battle-worn players are asking their fans to forgive and forget the sorry events of the last two weeks as they prepare for the last chance to save their season in Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final return against Chelsea. Barcelona, favourites to complete a European and domestic treble at the start of April, have been in free fall since their 3-1 defeat in the first leg at Stamford Bridge two weeks ago, losing each of their last three matches by three goals to nil. The defence is in tatters, the much-vaunted attacking trio of Rivaldo, Patrick Kluivert and Luis Figo seems jaded, while coach Louis van Gaal looks to have lost the plot as he searches in vain for a way out of what is fast becoming a crisis.
