Barcelona are looking forward to Bernabeu derby, especially Rivaldo

The world and European Player of the Year emerged from a spell last week with two goals of the highest quality in Barcelona's 4-0 win over Valladolid, the first a  perfectly executed overhead, the second a sweetly timed volley.

'I'm coming into this game right on form after scoring four goals in a week,' Rivaldo said at Barcelona's El Prat airport.

'This is a perfect moment for me to be playing against Madrid. Barcelona will be doing everything to get victory and three important points.'

Barca coach Louis van Gaal was also in confident mood this week. The Dutchman, who has guided the side to successive league titles, already has three victories and two draws from the five league games against Real since his arrival in Spain.

'I always come to the Bernabeu with the intention of winning,' said van Gaal. 'Maybe that's the key to victory, although it's also true that I have players of the highest quality who can decide any game.

'We're in good form going into the match and we'll certainly be going all out for victory.'
