We have heard from many people that  there was a triple murder here many years ago. It is said that the father went insane and killed his wife and two children.  I have heard from a few people that the place is very haunted, and that someone wrote a book about this house. It  sits grandly on top of a hill, looking down at the neighbors below. It  is one of the oldest houses left in  the city.  Some of the windows have been boarded up, and apparently no one has lived there in quite some time. There is a small old cemetery located at the beginning of the road. We went there on a cool, dark night and there was no moon visible. The minute we pulled in the driveway, I saw a round object about a foot long, with  a dark bluish - gray color swoop down in front of the car. This place is very eerie, and I have to admit that I felt a little uncomfortable. My mother  said that she felt a strong sadness here. I kept hearing big branches snapping and leaves crackling like there was someone walking around us, but no one was visible.
