Summary : Sometimes a printer may give a error message or code. These are usually faults (sometimes undocumented) or information messages.

Causes:

• For a list of all the Laser printer error messages please click here. If you have a matrix printer please refer to your printers documentation.
• Sometimes errors can occur when the printer is dirty, this is caused by dirt/paper debris in the internal sensors. Sometimes these errors can be cleared by cleaning the metal contacts inside the printer with a solvent or equivalent (REMEMBER TO POWER OFF FIRST). Also If you feel confident enough you could try to hoover or blow out the dirt with compressed air. REMEMBER TO REMOVE TONER/RIBBONS ETC FIRST
