PRINTER DISPLAYS INSERTION ERROR

Summary : Printer displays the INSERTION error message/code.

Causes:

Please refer to your printer documentation for removing paper jams first if the paper has jammed
If there is paper jammed in the printer it should always be removed in the direction the paper would normaly feed.
Care must be taken not to tear the paper when it is being removed, if it is torn the paper may proove verry difficult to remove.
The main cause for this error is that the paper pickup rollers could be worn or dirty, these are normaly located under the printer. These sould be cleaned with solvent and if they are worn replaced. A tempory fix for worn rollers is to use a very fine sand paper and make the surface rough.
Make sure the paper used is correct to the users guide specs.
