#13:
Tank is with his new girlfriend, Laurel, when he
gets attacked by these crazy bad guys for some unknown reason. As
he fights with these bad guys, he starts to press his limit on his super
strength, and starts to exert himself. While he's fighting, Laurel
starts to wonder just what kind of background her new boyfriend has, not
knowing that he's a DNAgent. Tank is able to fight off the baddies,
but they kidnap his girl. Tank calls out to Rainbow, and she and
Surge head out to rescue him.
When they arrive, Tank is unconscious, so Rainbow
mind scans him and it is revealed just how bad Tank feels. They take
him back to the lab so he can recuperate.
Meanwhile, Sham is still on the lookout for his
friend, Snafu, unbenknownst that Snafu is dead, and no one wants to tell
him. Sham also is suspicious to those that created him (the lab guys
who created all the DNAgents), and is worried that they are ploting against
him.
Young Amber is enjoying her flying abilities as
usual, until Krell (the man who runs the Matrix laboratory) yells at her
to quit flying. He gets really mad at her and decides to have her
flying ability taken away from her since she causes so much attention to
their covert operations.
Tank is in the process of getting his strength back
when the bad guys that attacked him earlier call up the lab and tell him
that they have his girl, Laurel, and are holding her at gunpoint in a warehouse
in San Diego. Tank takes a jet and heads to her rescue. He
busts in on the bad guys, who are working for Krell, and rescues his girlfriend.
She freaks when she finds out that Tank is actually her boyfriend, and
runs away.
Sham is still on the hunt for Snafu, and finds a
trace that resembles his. When he finds the origin of the trace,
it is not Snafu, but a man called Worm, who has a giant cranium, and looks
like a dork. Worm talks Sham into spying on his creators to find
out if they are, in fact, plotting against Sham. Sham finds out that
they are, and goes military.
#14:
The Worm's background is revealed, and it is none
too pleasant. It is revealed that he always gives people advice that
ends up blowing back up in their faces, and then one day, he ran into a
strange rock which gave him the power to read people's minds, and with
his knack of pursuading people into doing the wrong things, he is revealed
to be one serious problem.
Sham, meanwhile, is now trying to figure out what
to do with those who are plotting against him and where his friend Snafu
is when he runs into a little girl who looks like his own age named Amy.
Sham starts to complain to her about how not being human sucks and that
she'd never know what it was like to be "property". She then says
that she can relate, and then Sham, in a fit of rage, turns into a monster
and scares her off.
Mr. Krell has a meeting with Amber and tells her
she cannot fly anymore. Amber is heartbroken and runs off, while
Sham, disguised as Tank, tries to sneak into the off-limits room.
He is found out by the doctor, but tries to go in anyways. He gets
electrocuted, and is told that the room is made so that Sham specifically
can't get in the room. Sham leaves, even more determined to get in
that room and find out what happened to Snafu.
Gemstone is revealed to now be working for the newspaper,
and is paid to break in and steal documents confirming the existence of
the DNAgents. Gemstone agrees, and as he leaves, Worm shows up and
gives some more bad advice to the man who runs the newspaper.
Amber tells Rainbow that Krell wants to make Amber
give up her flying powers, and says that she is going to run away.
Tank tells her that is not a good idea, that he already tried, and he had
to come back. Tank then leaves to go work out, and as he does, Rainbow
detects an intruder in the hall.
Amber storms out to confront the intruder, to show
that her flying powers are still a valuable asset, but she gets shot down
by Gemstone, who is the intruder. Tank gets pissed as he sees Amber
is hurt and charges at Gemstone, who now lets loose his laser belt to try
and stop Tank. It doesn't work so he tries to make a break for it,
but Rainbow stops him. They inform Krell who shows up and tells Rainbow
and Tank to hand over the intruder and leave. They do so, and Krell
lets him go, because Gemstone was working for Krell.
Amber is put into the tube for healing, and Worm
is revealed to be going back to his room. As he does, Sham is in
the room waiting for him, and asks for more of his advice.
Worm tells him what to do, and Sham goes to back
to the Matrix lab, and hooks up with Gemstone. Together, they break
in. Gemstone gets Sham into the "off-limits" room, and then heads
off to get his own information. Sham goes through the files, until
he finds out that Snafu really is dead. He goes crazy and starts
to smash up the lab. The doctor comes in and tells him to stop, but
it is too late. Sham demands that the doctor tell him what he was
doing in there, and the doc tells him that he was trying to grow Sham a
new mother...
#15:
Sham continues to go nuts on the good doctor who
was trying to create Sham a new mother. The doc tells his backstory,
about the woman who he was recreating, and how Sham shares the same genetic
code as her. Sham refuses to believe, goes nuts some more and starts
shooting up the place. Rainbow comes in and tries to calm Sham down.
Sham doesn't want to listen, believing that the doctor was the one responsible
for killing Snafu. Rainbow then shows Sham that HE is the one who,
in fact killed Snafu. Sham is shattered by this revelation, and runs
off crying.
Gemstone, meanwhile is selling info on the DNAgents
to the newspaper, and plans to go back to get even more info so he can
blackmail Krell. Amy tries to console Sham again, but he scares her
off again. Sham notices that he is melting, and is distraught.
Tank sees the whole fiasco, and gives Sham a lecture. Sham thinks
about what Tank has told him.
At the same time, Surge is walking around the building
planning on putting the moves on one of the new lab techies, and goes to
the doc to see if he knows anything about her. The doc's too busy
though, so Surge leaves, and runs into Gemstone who is just leaving the
restricted files room. They duke it out, and Gemstone gets away.
Krell orders Rainbow, Surge, and Tank to get back
that info that Gemstone stole, because it will reveal the existence of
the DNAgents, so they go and try to stop him.
Gemstone goes and sees his brother in prison, but
his brother tells him to stop. Gemstone doesn't listen and leaves.
He runs into the DNAgents, and a fight ensues. Rainbow's powers start
to go on the fritz, but Tank and Surge take care of the problem.
In the ensuing fight, Gemstone is killed by an explosion, and the info
is destroyed. His brother watches in tears at his brother's lost
life.
Amy, meanwhile, finally
makes a breakthrough with Sham, and the two become friends.
#16:
A mad dictator in South Africa is training a man
to defeat Tank in battle and show the might of the human race over those
who were created genetically.
Meanwhile, Laurel still contemplates over her relationship
with Tank. She wonders about who and what he is, but her thoughts
are cut short as she is kidnapped yet again by the South African doctor's
troops.
The man who the dictator is training is named Brick
Stonewall. The mad dictator then sends out a television broadcast
calling Tank out. Tank finds out through Krell who was trying to
keep it a secret from him, but failed to do so, and Tank heads to South
Africa to free Laurel. At the same time, Brick's old wife sees him
on the mad dictator's broadcast and tries to reach him.
Tank encounters Brick and the two duke it out.Tank
gets his ass kicked in front of the cameras, which the dictator says will
be played later on national television to show the world that humans are
superior to genetically engineered creations, and he has a U.N. observer
on hand to confirm this.
Tank continues to get his ass kicked, and back in
the States, Brick's wife runs into Rainbow, who reads her mind and knows
that she wants to get in contact with Brick. She takes her into the
lab to establish a mental link between Brick and his wife. After
the first failed attempt, they succeed, but Brick's mind is so deteriated
by the steroids, the connection is soon lost. Rainbow then connects
with Laurel's mind, and tells her to talk to Tank mentally and let him
know how she really feels. She does, but it is too late. Brick
wins and Tank is knocked out.
Laurel is released, and runs over to Tank's aide.
The U.N. observer says that the dictator was right, that genetically engineered
creations are dangerous, and then says that Brick is monstrous, and reveals
that he thought that Brick was the genetic experiment, and that everyone
else would think so too. The dictator cannot believe this, and concludes
that the experiment was a failure, and that all the tapes are to be destroyed.
Laurel helps Tank back to his ship, and the two
leave, arm in arm, as the dictator is left with his failure.
#17:
Amber is still in the cryo-tube as Rainbow and the
doctor contemplate her fate and the fact that Amber can no longer fly.
As they are in there, Rainbow's boyfriend shows up and takes her out.
Krell calls the doc to his office and the two talk of the DNAgents' independence
and how they are growing out of control. The doc is in favor the
agents, but Krell says he would rather have them destroyed than to let
them reign free.
Meanwhile, Tank, Sham, and Surge are in the training
room, and Sham is feeling a lot better now that he has a girlfriend.
Surge thinks to himself how lucky Tank and Sham are to have girls and how
he has no one, but his thoughts are cut short as a giant ship comes and
blows a hole in the side of the Matrix building. It steals an important
computer that holds the genetic formula for the DNAgents. The three
DNAgents are unable to stop the ship, but Sham is able to throw a signal
device on it to track it.
Rainbow and her boyfriend talk about their relationship
and how her powers are on the fritz, and her boyfriend is right about to
propose, but she is called away by the lab because of the break in.
She arrives and is the one to tell Amber that her flying powers were taken
away. Amber is crushed, but still goes with the other agents and
Krell to get back the computer.
It is revealed that the one who stole it was Landon
Venture, a rival of Krell's, who plans on letting the truth of what goes
on at the Matrix laboratory out into the public, destroying Krell.
The DNAgents arrive at Venture's base, and duke
it out with his flunkies. Rainbow's telepathic powers are still not
working, but a hologram monster appears, and Rainbow is confused because
she is not the one responsible for it. The DNAgents are kicking serious
butt, but Venture sneaks onto the ship and tells Krell that he will kill
him. Amber shows up, but Venture pushes Krell out of the ship.
Amber jumps out and catches him, but she can't fly. Miraculously,
Amber flies, however! Krell can't believe it, and chalks it up as
another one of their independencies that will lead to their rebellion.
After the fight's over, and the battle is one, Krell
blows up the ship which has Venture still on it, gases the DNAgents, and
takes them back to the Matrix lab and puts them in stasis. The doctor
objects, but cannot do anything about it.
It is revealed that Worm has been giving advice
to Krell, and we all know how reliable Worm's advice is. Rainbow's
boyfriend shows up and starts to cause a ruckus. It is revealed that
Rainbow is pregnant, but she is in stasis. Rainbow's boyfriend punches
Krell in the face, who says that he deserved it. Jay, Rainbow's boyfriend,
goes back to his office, where a cute girl calls up and asks him out.
He says no, and is left in the darkness of his office, alone.
