Pulau Rusukan
For a glimpse at a true 'diver's wreck', the American shipwreck southwest
of Pulau Rusukan Kecil, 24 km from Labuan is a sight to behold.
The Australian shipwreck is another, lying in 21 metres of water, it
can be found 23 km from Labuan and southwest of Pulau Rusukan Besar.
The Cement shipwreck, some 21 km from Labuan and east of Pulau Kuraman,
is equally fascinating and can be seen in about 30 metres of water.
If you are seeking seclusion, the outlying islands of Pulau Papan,
Pulau Daat and Pulau Burong have plenty to offer and are
just minutes away by speed boat. Visitors can spend the day exploring
the beaches or the dense jungle inland, which is home to a variety of
plant and animal life.
