July - August
The much-awaited FAST mini-Olympics
was declared open on July 28 at JICA. The structure of this
sportsfest was unprecedented since the activity was held not
just for one or two days, but consisted of series of games
that lasted for almost a month. FAST formed two teams, the
Blazing Red, headed by Romy, and the Blue Thunder, headed
by Jun. The teams competed for four successive weekends. The
games included in the events were: basketball, volleyball,
badminton, table tennis, billiard, swimming, marathon, and
bowling. The two teams also competed in a hilarious and memorable
cheering and muse competition.
Majority of the games were held in JICA. The bowling tournament
was held at U-World, while swimming and marathon events at
Doho Park. The Blazing Red emerged eventually as the champion.
