Characteristically they have segmented body, a chitinous exoskeleton, and paired, jointed limbs. The wood lice is a crustacean that is not aquatic. Prawns are chiefly marine crustaceans of the Order Decapoda, many species of which are edible, having a compressed or elongated body with a well-developed abdomen, long legs and antennae, and a long spinelike projection of the carapace. Shrimps are various crustaceans similar to but smaller than the prawns, and are of the Suborder Natantia Crabs are predominantly marine crustaceans of the Wood lice are small terrestrial crustaceans, of the Order Isopoda They are commonly found under logs or stones and having an oval, segmented body. Udang adalah jenis krustasia dibawah Order Decapoda yang terbanyak. Banyak spesies boleh dimakan. Mereka mempunyai badan yang termampat atau memanjang, dengan abdomennya terkembang. Ia mempunyai kaki dan sesungut yang panjang, serta mempunyai satu unjuran tajam daripada karapasnya. Geragau adalah krustasia sama dengan udang tetapi lebih kecil, daripada Suborder Natantia Ketam kebanyaknya dari krustasia laut Suborder Brachyura dalam Order Decapoda, ciri-cirinya mempunyai cephalothorax yang lebah dan lepar, ditudung oleh kerapas yang keras. Abdomennya kecil dan tersembunyi dibawah kerapas ini. Ketam mempunyai sesungut pendek, lima pasang kaki panjang dimana kaki yang depan besar mempunyai penyepit. Kutu kayu adalah krustasia tanah daripada Order Isopoda. Mereka biasa dijumpai dibawah kayu buruk atau batu, mempunyai bentuk bujur, dan badannya bersegmen. |

| Banacles are various marine crustaceans of the Subclass Cirripedia. In the young stage they are free swimming but in the adult stage form a hard shell and remain attached to submerged surfaces, such as rocks and ships' bottoms.

| King crab or horseshoe crab are marine arthropods of the Class Merostomata, Subclass Xiphosura. They have a large, rounded body and a stiff, pointed tail. The shell on the upperside of the body is hard. It is unable to swim and lays its eggs in the sand at the high water mark.
Belangkas ialah sejenis arthropod laut Kelas Merostomata, Subkelas Xiphosura. Badan mereka besar, bulat dan mempunyai ekor yang teras dan tajam. Bahagian atas kulitnya keras. Ia tidak boleh berenang dan bertelor di pasir pada aras air tinggi. |
