City Stadium

FC Vardar its' matches plays at the City Stadium in Skopje with capacity of the stadium is 18,000 seats. The maximum number of crowd reached on a match was nearly 30,000 on the matches which FC Vardar played in the First Division of former Yugoslavia. On the matches : Macedonia - Denmark 1-1 (EC 1996 qualifiers), Macedonia - Spain 1-2 (EC 1996 qualfiers), Vardar - Bordeaux 0-2 (UEFA Cup 1995/96) and Vardar - Sparta Prague 2-3 (Champions League 2003/04) there were 25,000 spectators at the stadium. FC Vardar shares the stadium with FC Rabotnicki.




 
The City Stadium has 4 stands. The South Stand (which you see on the upper photos) is the central stand and there are placed the TV cameras. The North Stand is opposite of the South and it is second by largeness. The West Stand is the stand where the fans of Vardar are getting together, while the East Stand is opposite of the West and it is reserved for the visiting fans.
