my second DOPE experience

so...we met DOPE again! it was last tuesday (aug 24th).
i started school that day and i was trying to get my sleeping schedule back to school hours, but i fucked up some where and i got up at 11:30 monday night. i was at school until 5 and i had to drive directly to chicago (except i picked jaclyn up on the way). we didn't get to the show until after 7 and DOPE was already done with their set. we heard a couple static x songs and then it was time for fear factory. static x wasn't as bad as i had thought they would be...jaclyn had me prepared for the worst...but we're not the biggest ff fans. we only made it through 1.2 songs and then we ran out. there wasn't anyone around the tour busses...by the way, DOPE got a bus...so we went back to my car and decided to go to the alley for a while (it's a store)(a pretty store). after that, we went back to the riviara. the show was over and ppl were pouring into the street. we drove by the bus a couple million times, but there still wasn't anyone around (at least not around the DOPE bus). we started to go home (dissapointed), but when we got to lake michigan we realized that i had turned the wrong way. this gave us a good excuse to go back. (don't you like my usage of paragraphs...does "usage" have an "e" in it?) we still didn't see anyone by the bus, but we knew we'd hate ourselves if we just went home. (maybe i should have opted for the short version of this story) we walked past the ff bus...through the huge crowd of ff fans...and down to DOPE's bus. we seemed to be their only fans at that point (ain't we special). oh, and i had my video cam this time...hehe. the first person to come up to us was Simon (he be the keyboardest). he ran up and pointed at some roady type guy and told us he was gay. to make this shorter, i'll just tell you that by the end of the night we got to see everyone and i have them all on video...wait, i don't think i have any of Edsel...oops. i got quite an interesting show from Simon, but he made me sign a contract saying that i wouldn't make copies of it for anyone. lets just say that he's got the biggest balls i'll probably ever see...and he does a neat trick with them. i think that they're going to remember us next time =) and there WILL be a next time!
