In order for a claim to be brought to the New York City Small Claims Court division, it must meet the following criteria: The claim should be no more than $3000 Prove that it was an out of pocket loss Demonstrate that your loss was the fault of the other person That's It!! If your claim fits the above criteria then you have a case! You should send your question(s) to us immediately and a counselor will assist you within 2-3 days.
