Pokok renek, 4 hingga 6 meter tingginya. Pokok ini berasal dari kawasan Tropikal Amerika, Indies Barat, Mexico hingga Peru. Bunganya berwarna kuning, berjambak di hujung bahan. Pokok ini banyak ditanam sebagai pokok hiasan tepi jalan.

This is alarge shrub reaching 4 to 6 meters high. The plant is originated from Tropical America, West Indies, Mexico to Peru. Flowers are yellow in colour, in thick clasters at the apex of stems. Frequently planted as decorative road side plants.
