Pokok ini adalah sejenis rumput liar pada kebun, padang, tanah terbiar dan di tepi jalan. Ia sejenis herba, daunnya disusun dalam bentuk bulatan dekat kepada permukaan bumi. Bunga berwarna merah jambu, bercampur dengan putih. Membiak di tempat terbuka. Ada nilai perubatan

This plant is common as a weed in gardens, lawns, waste grounds and by road sides. It is a herb with leaves in a circle close to the ground. Flowers are pink, mixed with white florets. Grows in open places. Has medicinal value.

From the book Medicinal Plants of Thailand, the leaf decoction is for anthelmintic for round worm, diuretic, aphrodisiac. The leaf and root for contraceptive, tonic for post labour and cough remedy.

According to the book Chinese Medicinal Herbs of Hong Kong, Volume 2; Page 170, the plants are antipyretic, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, anti-swelling.
Five of the medical uses listed are:-
1.     Influenza, colds, acute tonsillitis, pharyngitis, conjunctivitis.
2.     Epidermic encephalitis B, pertusis.
3.     Acute icteric hepatitis, cirrhosis, ascitis.
4.     Acute and chronic hephritis.
5.     Furunculosis, eczema.
