Pokok ros ini mempunyai bunga berwarna hijau yang luar biasa. Kolopak bunga ini masih mempunyai bentuk, warna dan struktur daun. Ia tidak secantik seperti bunga ros biasa dan bunganya kecil serta susah untuk dikenali. Kita ketahui bahawa kolopak bunga asalnya daripada daun yang diubahsuai. Pokok ini adalah contoh dan bukti bagi kejadian ini. Pokok ini berasal dari China dan tercatat sebagai bunga ros liar dan asli dari mana jenis-jenis ros yang kita kenali sekarang dikacukan.

This rare rose plant has a very unusual green flower. The petals of the flower still retain the shape, colour and structure of leaves. It is not showy like other roses and the flowers are rather small and can be easily missed. We know that petals are modified leaves. This plant is a classical example and proof of it. It is the native of China and is recorded as the original form of wild rose from which the roses that we know today had been breed.
