These pictures are from PSA flight 182. The 727 collided with a Cessna 172 while on final approach in San Diego, CA. You can see the impact area on the right wing. The crew put the landing gear down to try and stabilize the aircraft. You can also see that the control surfaces are fully deflected in a last attempt to regain control of the aircraft.
