The Golden Horseshoe opened with Disneyland on July 17, 1955. Located in Frontierland, the interior was designed by the same set designer who designed the saloon set for the movie, "Calamity Jane" and it shows. It resembles a fancy old west saloon complete with a stage and a bar. The original Golden Horseshoe Review was the longest running stage show ever. Walt Disney loved the show and the stage left box was his favorite place to watch it from. The Golden Horseshoe is currently the home of Billy Hill and the Hillbillies, a five member band who play music "from the hills of Santa Monica". Two days a week you can also catch the "Golden Horseshoe Variety Show," a  two man music, comedy and magic show. Reservations should be made first thing in the morning. Lunch items are served at the bar.

The first Diamond Horseshoe opened with the Magic Kingdom in 1971. The exterior is very different from the Golden Horseshoe probably because the Diamond Horseshoe is located in Liberty Square. However, the interior is virtually the same as the California saloon. The major difference is that the bar is located on the opposite side of the room. Currently you can enjoy "The Diamond Horseshoe Saloon Review," a show that features a guitar pickin' cowboy, a slick magician and, of course Can Can girls. You can walk in anytime and Lunch items are served at the bar.

The second Diamond Horseshoe opened with Tokyo Disneyland in 1983. Located in Westernland, the exterior matches the Golden Horseshoe at Disneyland but the interior is identical to Florida's Diamond Horseshoe. During the day, you can still see the original show that played for years at Disneyland. It is presented in a mixture of English and Japanese.  In the evening they present the "Hoop-dee-doo Review," the same show currently playing at Walt Disney World's Fort Wilderness camp ground. This is a table service restaurant and during the day you are seated on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations are required for the "Hoop-dee-doo Review."

The Lucky Nugget opened with Disneyland Paris in 1992. Located in Frontierland, it bears as much resemblance to its predecessors as a seed does to a full grown tree. It is magnificent. It is a much larger facility, done in richly carved dark woods. The stage show is original and includes characters like Lilly, the owner, her errant boyfriend and her best friend, the piano player. They give you 30 minutes of comedy, music and behind-the-scenes antics that will leave you feeling good for hours afterwards.  The show is done in a mixture of French and English. Lilly and her friends share the stage with the Lucky Nugget Boys. This band will give you a 30 minute review of American Jazz. This is a table service restaurant but reservations can be made but they are not always needed.
