ABOUT ME

I am currently a senior at The Ohio State University-Mansfield majoring in History. I am also involved with numerous campus activities including The Diversity Club, Campus Activities Board, and the History Club. I am currently the student coordinator of the Diversity Club and very involved in diversity programming here at OSU-M. Aside from the club itself I regularly sit on the Diversity Panel for a Freshman Orientation course. During the 2004-2005 school year I am working along with the Diversity Club and the campus Diversity Committee to organize a week long Cultural Diversity Week on campus. I am also working on building a leadership course as well.

Outside of school I currently hold down two jobs, I am a Shift Leader for Hollywood Video here in Mansfield, where I work with a wonderful crew. I recently took on a second job as the Housing Support Specialist for Aids Resource Center Ohio. This job promises to be very rewarding and I work with another wonderful boss. Bosses do make the job!

For hobbies, well they are numerous but let me give you a short rundown. Anything outdoors; camping, backpacking, rapelling, canoeing, hiking, swimming, and biking. Alongside that I also enjoy woodcrafting (see pics page) though i admit I have slacked off a bit there, never seeems to be enough time. Other notable events in my life; 10 veteran USAF, graduate of OSU LeaderShape, and Eagle Scout

I hope you enjoy,
Brian

Campus leaders take on new roles
MANSFIELD -- New roles await a staff member and a student involved in student activities
at the Ohio State University-Mansfield/North Central State College campus.
Elise Riggle, coordinator of student activities, has been appointed to a two-year term as
associate member relations coordinator for the 2004-2005 National Association for Campus
Activities (NACA) Mid-America Regional Leadership Team.
Riggle, who joined OSU-Mansfield in 2001, holds a master's degree in the area of student
affairs and higher education. She has been involved in NACA activities since 1999.

Brian G. Goodson, a history major, has been selected to attend The Ohio State University
Leader Shape Institute scheduled June 15 to 20 at the OSU Wooster/ATI campus.
The program, which is offered by colleges and universities across the nation, helps
student leaders assess their strengths, learn the value of feedback and reflection and
understand the dynamics of power, communication and teamwork.
All costs for the program are covered by Coca-Cola, the OSU Office of Student Affairs and
the OSU Alumni Association.
