Boxscore.:

A nice shot of downtown Baltimore during BP.
Camden Yards was one of the first of the new "retro" parks to be built into the city.
Baseball only, great sightlines, it was the model for many parks that followed.

A look at the warehouse from the LF upperdeck.
The Orioles Gift Shop, and some offices are inside the warehouse.
Just beyond the RF fence is Boog's B-B-Q,and the SRO section. I had a great pork sandwich from there.

The rightfield foul pole is the original from Memorial Stadium.
They say Babe Ruth's father owned a Bar just beyond centerfield.

As you enter from the center field gate you are greeted by a statue of the "Babe".
Also the retired numbers are outside the stadium in a courtyard type setting.

The people came out to see Camden Yards in its first year of use... and they still do, 20 years later. Just not as much
Even though I never saw a baseball game at Memorial Stadium, I did see a Ravens game
and from what I saw then, Camden Yards is quite a step up from the old run down park on 33rd.

Stadium Rating : A
