Aftershock, Side Effects and Decompression
- My camera skills have flowered and exploded. I find a photogenic scene wherever I drive, but the trick is to capture it in time.
- Every party is a costume party. The beduin goes wherever I go. I can't stop wearing turbans to social events.
- I don't think my sense of decency ever matched the norm, but It's now farther than ever from society.
- I can't find enough places to be naked in public, and I forget that some of my photos are not appropriate for the Web.
- I find it acceptable to speak to strangers.
- This year, once again, my reality cheque bounced hard. Last year, the Burn brought me from LA to the South Bay.
My surroundings are no longer valid and I want to vacate, but the directions are less clear than last year.
- My support group is growing. I am a member of the e-playa, and the San Francisco community.
- It took 3 weeks to heal my chapped fingers and feet.
