Welcome to Camp Hollyburn!! I spent the whole summer of '99 at this camp as a counsellor, and I had a wicked time. The staff was awesome, the place was awesome, I went on some hard-core canoe trips, learned some new random vocab, and just plain had a kick-ass summer. Anyways, I got all my pics deveopled from the summer and here they are. But first, you must get into the Hollyburn spirit by listening to a Dave Matthew's "Ants Marching". It's a weird midi version. I couldn't put the whole song like from the CD, 'cause it's way too big a file, so check out this cute little funky version. 'later!

"Ants Marching"

Here are my Larks. We were Body Painting as a cabin activity

Emily(CIT)and I. During changeover from Session A to B we had a twin dinner.

My Jays from second session. All were not bad kids except for maybe about 1.........

For 3rd session I had 13 and 14 year olds. They were probably my best cabin. There was one incident, but I had some fun times with them. Especially the hoochie mamas which you will see later. Oh yeah, this is Natalie and Christine hanging from the rafters

This is Dusha. We got bored during rest hour, so we took advantage of the large cabin and put all our mattress' in the middle and jumped off the bunks onto them.

Ah, the 4-day 100km canoe trip. A hell of alot of fun. This is Heather's boat. She got to paddle with the two hoochie mamas(two girls that are total city chicks. They showed up at camp wearing tube tops and one even wore a skirt for a whole day). Day 1 of 4.

The brownie mix. Good stuff. Heather stuffing her face with it.

A little carry over we did.

Some white water we came across that we had to portage up. Good fun.

Portging up the rapids

Heather trying to find and easier way. It worked, but we had some difficulties at first(I fell in while helping Heather)

A deer swam across in front of us while we were canoeing. It was definitley a highlight of the trip. Here's the deer.

Heather and I on the last night of our trip. We showed the route of our trip by making small duct tape arrows and sticking them on. A hard trip finished, but it was FUN!!

Alexis and I went on an overnight together with my Sands. We went to the ridge. There were no more regular tents so we took a canvas. It turned out well.

Cooking dinner at The Ridge.

The Sands(my 4th session campers).

The Orioles from session 4. Two of them, I had their sisters first session.

Stu and Tom goofing around on departure day(4th session), the day before CAMP BUCKO arrives.

A bunch of us making a pyramid on departure day(again, just before BUCKO).

Me doing a flip off the diving board. Sometimes I got it, sometimes I didn't(ouch!!)

Laura climbing up the zipline.

Jenn about to go down the zipline.

On an overnight with my BUCKO Jays(Liz worked with me). Being silly and feeding Sandy(camper) leftover brownie mix.

BUCKO camper Lisa licking brownie spatula clean on our overnight.

Bucko. 2nd crazy counsellor night of the summer.

We had a lip-synch night. Here's Kurt doing whatever.

As usual, some cabin has to do Backstreet Boys. Stu.

Matt Jewett's cabin doing YMCA.

Dawson and Tom playing a song at our last campfire.

As soon as Bucko left, staff began clean-up. Andy and I did the barn.

Erin and I getting the last of the chairs...

Andy and I playing a duet for everyone oon the last night, at staff banquet.

THE END!!!!!!!
