In My Cocoon
Walking into a room where everyone knows,
Hold my head up and cross the floor.
Enter or leave, just close the door.
Once you thought you were a butterfly,
While still in your cocoon.
Chrysalis cry
For the metamorphosis inside,
For the metamorphosis.
Inside
My arms couldn’t follow your wings,
The flutter that opens and closes
The shutters of my heart.
Once I found a ladybug.
She spread her wings to fly.
I would,
I was a butterfly to be.
Chrysalis cry for the metamorphosis.
Inside
The room my arms still couldn’t follow,
And now everyone knows.
