A literal translation and image of Kids in a Garbage Pail.

A second Basuritas set was released ten years later throughout Chile in 1999, again manufactured and distributed by the Salo S.A. company, before the 2000 Argentinian release that shared the same look and layout. The self-adhesive stickers measured much smaller, at 2 1/4 X 2 3/4 inches, and were non-die cut, peeling from the edges. The second Chilean release also had an accompanied sticker album to place the stickers into; although the album covers are similar for the 1989 and 1999 releases, the contents and sticker size and style are radically different. ~ |

The Chile set is a direct reproduction of the U.S. artwork and has a great high-gloss finish with a black border and curved banner, similar to the 1989 Bukimi Kun set from Japan. The release spans card characters from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th Series sets from the U.S., not found in any particular order, plus some original artwork and card design not located in any other international releases. This album release is technically the first Garbage Pail Kids set to include 'chase' cards; stickers that are not part of the base set, or part of a subset within the numerical set — much like the various Sgorbions subsets from Italy — but are unconnected. ~ |

1. The artwork for card #71 MARTIN P.Gado, U.S. cards 322A K.O.'d KARL and 322B Sparrin' WARREN, has a purple, discolored Production Error, similar to the artwork image for the 1994 German Die Total Kaputten Kids card #100 NORBERT Nahtzig. This same artwork image was taken from the 1989 Chile Basuritas set for special sticker, letter B MARTIN P.Gado.

2. The only GPK set with a Black Border around the card, reminiscent of the black and white border of the U.K. '92 set, the 2000 Argentina 'Basuritas and Monsters' red border sets, and the various Italy 'Sgorbions' sets with yellow, green, blue and green borders. ~ |

3. Artwork for the 2-Card Puzzle for cards #1 and #2 is the same artwork found on the wrapper pack and sticker album; the artist for the original artwork is unknown. This is the first original international artwork used for a puzzle.  ~ |

4. The release contains ninety-six Chase Cards, or 'Lamina Especial' (= Special Sticker), twenty-four chase cards multipled by four different colors: green, orange, red and yellow. 5. The set uses various card character artwork from the 1st, 2nd , 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th Series U.S. releases. Also, there are thirty-two Original Artwork pieces, much like the Italy 'Sgorbions Legend' release, that number from 111 - 142 within the set. These images can also be seen as die-cut stickers within the 1989 Chile set for the two special poster releases.  ~ |

6. The set contains a U.S. card character with several Edited Additions and deletions. Compared to U.S. cards 309A Heartless HAL and 309B BOWEN Arrow, the artwork for card #144 ANDRES Cupido, has the arrow into the heart and angel wings removed and replaced with bat wings, demon fangs and a puff of air.

7. The set contains a U.S. card character with several Edited Deletions and additions. Compared to U.S. cards 293A Explorin' NORMAN and 293B Drillin' DYLAN, the artwork for card #150 RICOME Mocos has the pointer finger with booger and skin bits coming out the top of the head removed and a rounded cranium top added.
