"Participating Hobby Store List — Coming Soon!" — Topps  Per the Cartophilic Info Exchange blog on Thursday, March 17, 2022: "After six years, Topps National Baseball Card Day gives way to Topps International Trading Card Day for 2022. The event has expanded to include UEFA Champions League, Star Wars and Garbage Pail Kids, with the event kicking off on Saturday, 6 August, 2022. The 2021 exclusive set featured 30 cards and a selection of autograph cards. My guess would be cards from the new UEFA Champions League with a special Topps International Trading Card Day logo, as seen with the Lionel Messi card that was previewed recently at the 2022 Topps Industry Summit." — Alan Jenkins  Per mock-up cards, early 2022, the Garbage Pail Kids card has the temporary nomenclature of 'GPK Magname' which was eventually be replaced by the traditional 'ADAM Bomb' twin name. This mock-up moniker is usually seen on sports trading cards as 'Player Magname' as seen within the image above. As noted by the Cardboard Connection, and verified within the mock-up photo, "Star Wars packs were initially included in the lineup, but it seems that these were removed from the promotion."  The Cardboard Connection also notes, "While MLB cards remain part of the 2022 Topps International Trading Card Day lineup, baseball is not the only choice. For the first time, the Hobby shop promotion gives collectors the option to pick between different packs. By visiting a participating card shop on August 6, fans can pick one free pack from the three versions, as supplies last. Each Topps International Trading Card Day box contains 30 MLB packs, 13 UEFA packs and seven GPK packs. [50 packs per box, 5 cards per pack]" ... "There are also 2022 Topps International Trading Card Day purchase incentives earned by buying Topps products at the shop. The requirement is a $10+ purchase.
