The
BNS2 series is the sixth GPK set to contain Sketch Cards numbering 1/1 (one-of-a-kind),
found within hobby boxes (inserted 1:115 packs) or retail boxes (inserted 1:757
packs). Ten GPK artists worked on the Sketch cards for this release; veteran artist
Tom Bunk and next-generation artists Brent Engstrom, Layron Dejarnette, Mark Pingitore,
Joe Simko, Colin Walton, Jeff Zapata, Neil Camera, Strephon Taylor, and newcover
Pat Barrett. Besides the sketch cards located within the boxes, the artists were
given ten blank sketch card 'returns' from the Topps company, and once approved,
could be kept, sold or auctioned -- these sketch cards are often more highly detailed
and go for a higher price. |
