| The Flashback 2 series
is the third GPK set to contain Sketch cards numbering 1/1 (one-of-a-kind,
found within hobby or retail boxes). Nine GPK artists worked on the Sketch
cards for this release; veteran artist Tom Bunk, next-generation artists Brent
Engstrom, Fred Wheaton, Layron Dejarnette, Mark Pingitore, Joe Simko, Colin Walton
and Jeff Zapata; and working for the first time on GPK sketch cards, Neil
Camera infamous for his ANS7 'Wanted' profile pics. Five artists from Gallery 1988 worked on the hobby shaped Sketch cards which includes: Tom Haubrick, Ken Garduno, Misha, Irma Rivera and Keith Noordzy. Besides the sketch cards located within the boxes, the artists were also given 10 blank sketch 'Return' cards from the Topps company, and once approved, could be kept, sold or auctioned — these sketch cards are often more highly detailed. |
