Try your best to destroy all the flying capsules. Prepare 6 powers to highlight the "?" box in the power up gauge will be more safe.
If you crashed a plane in this stage, this is suggested not to equip the 4th Option at here. Wait until the next stage. Otherwise Option Hunter may appear in the middle of the next (final) stage. Which can be highly dangerous.
This is optional to arrange Options in this way. After the first move of the boss, shoot down the guided missiles (behind the boss) quickly. Next, stay back to the left to escape from the rest. Take attention at this time that the boss may shoot out laser sometimes. Moreover, try not to stand in the spotlight area.

When the boss shot out loose missiles, stay at the lower left corner with Options above Vic Viper will be usually safe. Once the boss is stayed calm in the middile of the screens, it's a good chance to concentrate shooting at the core. The boss should be crashed by then.
The explosion is a very beautiful scene too.
