    He married AMALIA POPKAT (religion-Lutheran) October 3, 1854 Catholic Church of Memel  
    She was born November 01, 1833 in Memel, East Prussia, and died Unknown.

Notes for JOHANN ANTONIUS ARMEIT:
Came to US with his daughter Minna in 1894 when he was 60 years old.  
They sailed on the Scandia from Hamburg, Germany to New York Harbot arriving on October 12, 1894.  
He lived with his son Frank in the 1900 census and lived with Wilaminia at the time of his death 
at 380 Woodward Avenue, Ridgewood, Queens, NY.

*AUGUSTE WILAMINIA3 ARMEIT (JOHANN ANTONIUS2, IGNATIUS1) 
    was born March 1872 in Memel, Prussia, Germany (1999 is Klaipeda, Lithuania), and 
    died June 01, 1935 in Queens, NY.  
    She married LUDWIG MEERBOTT January 28, 1899 in brooklyn, New york, 
    

Came to US with her father, Johann in 1894 when she was 21 years old.  
They sailed on the Scandia from Hamburg, Germany to New York Harbor arriving on October 12, 1894.

*ADOLF3 ARMEIT (JOHANN ANTONIUS2, IGNATIUS1) was born November 18, 1864 in Pommelwitte in Memel, and 
    died April 16, 1925.  He married ANNA BRIEGER.  
    She was born July 24, 1864 in Kircheim, and died July 26, 1941 in Koblenz.

Frank is found in the Jersey City Directory living at the same address as William Armeit in 1889 
through 1893 occupation a paver for both of them.  He then moves to New York as well as William 
but they are not living in the same building.  William does not appear after 1897 in the Brooklyn directory.
