A bit of personal stuff:
Okay... After all the pictures (I was bored)... I consider my Tandy 200 the most worthwhile laptop purchase I've ever made. I was at a hamfest (the same one I bought my PC-1500 at). As every other year I have gone to this hamfest, it was pouring down rain. (and naturally, most of this hamfest is outside) One of the vendors had a table full of desktops that were covered with a plastic dropcloth, and various old computer parts sitting on a tarp in front of the table, uncovered, in the rain. I started searching throught it, found a couple hard drives, and a very wet Tandy 200 at the bottom of the pile I asked the guy how much he wanted for it, and he said $3... for all of it... just for the heck of it, I asked if he'd take $2 for it. Suprizingly, he said, "sure the laptop doesn't have a floppy drive anyway". The Conner 120MB drive I got along with it worked great, and the Maxtor FH 2.5" 205 MB ESDI drive started bellowing smoke when I connected power to it, so I tore it apart and made a clock from the platters... By the time I got home, the Tandy 200 was dry, so I put in some batteries, hit the power button, and it works perfectly. I use this laptop for most of my class note-taking, and the batteries last forever. It still has the same batteries that I put in it almost a year ago.
