The Prince and the Tomcat
Once upon a time, in a wonderful, white castle high on top of the Magic Mountains, the Prince and Princess were getting ready for their wedding day.
All the dressmakers from miles around had been asked to make the most beautiful wedding gown for the Princess, and they were all working together on it. Even the fairies helped to make it, and as it moved, fairy dust flew into the air, making it sparkle like sunlight. The Princess would be the most beautiful bride the little kingdom had ever seen.
Everyone was happy and laughing, until the day the Prince's evil brother flew in through the window on his big, black dragon called Night, and stole the princess's beautiful wedding gown just as it was finally completed.
His evil laugh drifted across the happy people far below, stopping the laughter and making every one of them look to the high tower where the Princess's gown was being prepared, and as the brave Prince drew his sword and ran forward to stop him, his evil brother threw some magic powder into his face, and the prince started sneezing violently.
Aaaachooooooooo
The prince sneezed and sneezed, and could do nothing as his evil brother climbed once again onto his dragon's wide back and flew out the window to make his escape.
As the evil pair flew into the distance, heading for the Twisted Forest where his black castle stood, the Prince vowed, in between sneezes, that the gown would be returned in time for the wedding.
The Prince raced down the stairs from the high tower, sneezing as he went, and, as he reached the courtyard, he lept upon the back of his mighty white charger, and together they galloped away from the castle, the Prince's white cape flying behind him as they sped after the disappearing dragon, who was now only a tiny speck in the distance.
They galloped all day and all night, just barely keeping the huge dragon in sight. Through farms, and across bridges, Along roads, and tiny deserted tracks. They passed through cities and towns, and nothing slowed them down, until in the early morning they reached the dark and gloomy Twisted Forest.
It was there that the still sneezing Prince found that he had at last lost sight of the dragon and his evil brother, and that he was hopelessly lost.
"What will I do now" the Prince cried hopelessly.
"I may be able to offer you some assistance." said a small voice from behind him.
