"Ma's Creole Coconut Macaroons Recipe"
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. corn starch
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 lbs. coconut
3 egg whites beaten stiff
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Sift together the 1st 3 ingredients. Gradually add the sugar mixture to the eggs beating all the time. When all is added stir in coconut and vanilla extract. Bake at 450° for 10-15 min.
