Serial Slayings Worry Police

A third slaying has occurred in the Highlands. Sunday a badly mangled body was found in Cherokee Park. Local residents are terrified. "They said it didn't have any blood," an observer remarked. "It's like something out of a horror novel." This is the third "Monster" slaying by what police suspect to be a serial killer. Investigators are working over time and looking for help from FBI profilers.

Mayor Pushes New Arts Movement

Mayor Wagnor is very pleased with the progress of the New Arts Movement. The movement is funding longer hours for theaters and art galleries, including the Kentucky Center of the Art, the Macauly Theater and the Louisville Ballet. All the names theaters and more are now open seven days a week and from nine am until eight pm, three hours longer. The Mayor encourages more funding by donating five hundred thousand dollars of his own money towards the movement.

Christian Awareness Foundation Grand Opening

The Christian Awareness Foundation opened its new headquarters Friday on Preston Highway. The Foundation preaches the dangers of occult and satanic worship, which is on a rise in Louisville. CAF has put great pressure on the area, resulting in a high voter turn out. People everywhere are calling for the resignations of Thom Master and Jerry Schimlier, liberal alderman that preach tolerance of alternate lifestyles and religions.
