Episode 1: Sykes and the rest of the crew on board the "Nemesis", rescue her after she falls into the water on a jogging trip and nearly drowns. When she comes down to the Water Police to thank Sykes for saving her life, Tommy tells her that he is Sykes and asks her out. Episode 41: Linda Jones is reported missing. The detectives have reason to believe that a stalker they call "Desperate Dave" has abducted her, and they do everything they can to find her. At the end it's revealed that the dissappearing was arranged by herself and some friends. Season 1
